Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

If you do not have health insurance, or if you have insurance but are choosing not to use it for services with Brave Space for Healing, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your expected care may cost.

If you schedule services at least 3 business days in advance, a Good Faith Estimate will generally be provided within the timeframe required by federal law. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling or at any time during care.

A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not require you to receive services from Brave Space for Healing.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate for the same provider or facility, you may have the right to dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
